Welcome to the pages of the Civic Association (Bürgerverein) Eissen e.V.

The Civic Association Eissen e.V. was founded by 48 citicens from Eissen in april 2008. The main reason for founding the association was that the city of Willebadessen wanted to give back the responsibility for the community halls to the villages. According to the statutes the association is dedicated to the following tasks:

• Promotion of landscape and monument protection
• Commitment to the social and cultural concerns in the village
• Management and maintenance of the community hall for use by the clubs and citizens of the village Eissen

One focus of association work is the support and promotion of civic engagement for the overall development of the village. There are many dedicated and active associations and groups in Eissen that perform important tasks in their area. The Civic Association would like to dedicate to overarching themes and cross-cutting issues that affect the whole village.
